These meatballs are half pork and half beef so I picked the pork section for posting: here are the basic ingredients

I chopped up the jalapenos to add to the mix

Here is a premix shot and after mix shot

A nice cream cheese ball in the center for a tasty treat,I added the rub outside the house to minimize the mess.

Here they are out of the smoker, some of them started to erupt as I didn't center my cream cheese very well :)

A money shot of one about to be devoured while watching the packers game

Very tasty and easy to make ,this is Jeff P's recipe and is worth making ! Thanks for looking!

CM They look great Going to give that a try some day, with less heat LOL

CM you've added another snack food to my list for gatherings. When I first saw the premix shot I thought it was the plated shot. My bad. Point for the addition.

Richie, They aren't really hot as I scrape out the seeds and membranes, just a bit of heat but not overpowering.

You could saute the halapeno with onion or shallot before adding to the mix. That might take a little bit of the sting out of the bite but leave enough heat in for that good brow sweat and a slight runny nose.

Point to ya.. I like the simplicity of them. Kinda like a popper made with ground beef.
