I have to put in a big plug for my new Foodsaver vacuum sealer. I just got it before my Labor Day smoke and it came it real handy. Was great for sealing the leftovers and some uncooked salmon filets that I picked up that day.

Very small learning curve and after one or two tries I got the hang of it. Only issues is I don't have the counter space for it and it is kind of wide so it sits in a cabinet when not in use. I went through the first roll of bags already so a trip to Costco for replacements is on my agenda.

Ron -

Try to get the long rolls so you can make your own bag sizes. I find this saves money in the long run. I can't leave mine out either I barely have enough counter for full rack of ribs.

Foodsavers are great! Mine also sits in a drawer due to lack of counter space.

Take care, have fun, and do good!
