It doesn't show the model number.

haven't you noticed anything on the bag material usage?

What should I have noticed?

the extra amount when sealing the ends, you have to shuv 1/2 a roll into it before it kicks it on.;-)
unlike my foodsaver 550 ill use 1/4 inch on each end.

must have a double thread going.........

i have a 3440 but i do notice how much bag needs to be shoved in to make it work. i have noticed if you just insert enough to make the motor turn on it will minimize the waste a little....not much.

I have the 3460 and it has the same problem. If I shove it in slowly until the motor starts its not in far enough to seal so I go all the way in and yes there is a bit of waste. Piker
