Judging by the xray, that's one ugly fracture. But it looks like the doc did a good job on the repairs. They sure didn't cheap-out on the metal.
Gotta agree--just do whatever the doc tells you and it should be OK.

Mine is only a 6" long Bar & 6 Screws, but I was "Safe at Second Base" !!!
