Heading to Port St. Joe to visit some friends who recently bought a house there and are living there part time. Anyone got any suggestions about places to eat? Doesn't have to be BBQ, just somewhere local...

We used to hit a place called Sea and suds . Low key place over looks the beach , but it's over Pensacola way . Burger and fry basket type of thing . Frosty mug .

Indian Pass Raw Bar for sure. Been there many many times. Very no frills local joint with great food. It's just a bit down the road from Port St. Joe on 30A. It's been there for decades. Probably since the 1950's.

We stay east of Destin, a bit, from time to time. Are you willing to travel to Panama City…there was a seafood place right on the water that we always go to and it has never disappointed…will look it up. Name escapes me right now.

That should be a fun trip. We are heading to Delray for a family function in June. Then driving down to Islamorada in the Keys to stay at the Cheeca lodge for a couple days.

OK.. IF your driving down I-75 about thirty miles south of Tampa.. When you go by exit 229 wave to me as you go by... LOL ...
Hell no, not driving to FL! it was bad enough driving down to my daughter for 4 years when she went to ECU in NC.

I just need to find/book a flats fishing trip when I am there. I know last time there was a "resident" barracuda that was under the fishing dock there, about 3 feet long. I hooked him like 4 times and he bit through the line each time.

Just got here and even though I've been up and down the east coast of Florida all the way to Key West, this is my 1st time seeing the gulf...
