Many like minded folks here.
This is a great community of members, friends and even family.
I've often enjoyed seeing others gifted nice things, I've given and received here.
And it's not just SMF, others forums have incredible camaraderie too.
On a local fishing forum I was pushing my wife's books.
Next thing we knew the members started their own auction for a full signed set of the Possession Chronicles, and the bidding ended at $500.
Mind Boggling.

We believe that works are not dead.
Fellow Christians will know what that means.
And we believe in sharing our blessings.
I had a cancer scare and got really lucky with it.
Somebody watching over me maybe?
Power of prayers?

Now we were just blessed again.
And we're blessing a member of our church who is not so lucky, and is slowly dieing from cancer.
Half of this blessing is going to that family.
And I'm sure that they will use it to make their grand and great-grand children's Christmas more memorable.

And again, because it can not be said too many times, "Thank You!"
Almost 2 years later, and here I am in tears at work.
My friend Bill Vasquez whom I passed this blessing on to has finally succumbed to his cancer.
He died in hospice with his wife by his side.
God speed you on your journey Bill.
I'll miss you.

F Cancer!

I'm positive your blessing to him made a huge difference thru the cancer battle.

Praying for you and his family.

I’m so sorry. F Cancer.

In my church we have a fathers group and in this book we’re reading about raising our children to be disciples the author mentioned his son’s favorite prayer before diner, “Thank you God, Amen” The child is thinking he’s being crafty, but the author and our group talked about how powerful that simple prayer actually is. Thank you for this day, health, friends, family, etc. We don’t know what the next day will bring or if we will be here, but we know we are always loved and for that we are eternally thankful.

Amen! Appreciate every minute of every day! In the last two weeks we had a friend lose his 20 something year old to cancer. Then another older friend in a car/semi accident... Who had not long ago adopted a teenager to give him a better life. Tell all in your life you love them!
