My set up works great for cold smoking, but when I try to use it while hot smoking the flame [emoji]128293[/emoji] consumes most of the smoke. I have the smoke coming in about 5 1/2 inches above the flame. What can I do to help this?

Have you run the tray/tube directly inside the CC while hot smoking and forego the cold setup?  Or put a cast iron skillet directly above the burner with a chunk or 2 in it?  You'll likely get better results from what I recall others having experienced.

You got room for another elbow inside the smoker body ??    add it and point it upward as best you can..

More exhaust so there is positive air flow heading toward the exhaust....

I use my AmazeN pellet tube smokers in my mailbox or directly in the pit of my GOSM and never have a problem. Tunes will work in the pit as long as the pit temp is below 285.

What are you using to generate smoke?

Are you positive it's being consumed? Most of the time I can hardly see it but it's there.
