Here are the brined beauties!!!!

Here is the rubbed up chicken (there are 2 of them)  I let wife make the rub based on her tastes and to get her involved!

Right?  I figure since I am addicted to this I better get the wifey unit involved in the process.

  Smoking now at 270F with a combo of Cherry and apple wood chips.  I also filled the water pan with the brine.  Spritzing with lime juice, water and Cointreau hehe.......so far the skin is a beautiful golden color and looks nice and crisp!!!
 
I bet the Lime gives it a nice twist

All the wifes idea.  I can't take any credit for this one.......well except owning the smoker.....ummmmm that she bought me

  I can't wait to dig in. Chicken, corn on the cob, noodles and some tortillas.  Mmmmmmmmm  Oh and Candy Apples for dessert (just got my braces off today!!!!)

Mrs. PM saw me taking pics and said "What a dipstick" and " Do you really think anyone wants to see your meal"?  I just smiled and nodded
