I had several bags of different types of left over sausage so I tried some pork shots today. I tried breakfast sausage and polish sausage. The breakfast sausage was fresh sage sausage without cure so they went on the grill and the polish sausage went in the smoker. Here are some pictures:

These are the breakfast sausage from the grill. I cooked them like burgers. I used a 1/4 cup to make them the same size (a little large, I know)

Here are the Polish sausage pork shots in the smoker.

Another of the Polish sausage.

Sliced Polish sausage.

Both pork shots were good and a fun way to clean out the freezer. I liked the Polish sausage better because of the smoke. Both were started from raw sausage so next time I do this I will cook the raw sausage first and then wrap with bacon and then smoke.

Thanks for looking!
