Turned out freaking awesome! Smoked them for a couple hours with pecan shells. Rested for a few more hours, the opened up the vents on the 'ol Akorn and seared them off. The back slices are they flat iron. They were a bit rarer, but oh so tasty and tender. May have missed the grain a bit on the longer side, but still very tender. Thank you for all the support! I will be hunting down some more.

Beautifully cooked! Boy did you nail that, it had to taste amazing! Those TTs are kind of like crack, now you have to find a dealer🤣

We can find flat-iron steaks here, but not tri-tip. Been wanting to try it for a long while and yours looks pretty spot on!
