Hey Folks!  Just seasoned my very first smoker this past weekend and joined to learn the ways of the pros.  I'm running an MES30gen1 just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina on my covered screen porch in the back.  Really hoping the first few runs go well so I don't end up discouraged.  I'm gonna be asking you all a ton of questions til I find a rhythm I can rely on.  See you around!

Welcome to SMF!

Plenty of guys on here with your smoker to get you started in the right direction!

Welcome from SC. It's really good to have you on this great site. There are a lot of really fine folks here who are always eager to share their ideas, recipes and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and good smoking, Joe.
