First time smoked ham!

  1. Hey everybody new here and new to smoking. Picked up a ham the other day and did a very tasty recipe in 4 hours. Rubbed the ham with honey dijon mustard and brown sugar. Cooked two hours unwrapped then 1 hour wrapped and brushed with pineapple juice. For the last hour I added more pineapple juice and brown sugar and cooked unwrapped to glaze the outside. Needless to say it turned out awesome!

  3. Looks great. Was it a "fully cooked smoked ham" to start with so you ended up with a double smoked ham?
    I have read about these previously on the site and want to give it a try.

    Looks great, we love doing them that way, kids will not let me put another one in the oven ever again.

    Looks great. I first tried Bearcarver's double smoked ham last month. Stellar. This looks like a similar idea and would also be very tasty.

  6. Kranders it was just a dry-cured ham I bought at the grocery store. Had a great mixture of sweet and smokey flavor with the brown sugar glaze
