Best thing I ever bought!!! Anybody messing with charcoal should have one!

Been using them forever. As a scout leader, we taught our boys how to make them out of tin cans and coat hangers. IMO it's the only to go.

Starting a chimney is what I primarily use my side burner on the gasser for.

Yup everyone should own one as well as a kettle grill regardless of what other stuff you have.

Happy smoken.

I think you just might be right on the kettle.  I haven't had one in a looooong time and I'm looking into it again.

Had a kettle for years, hard to beat.  Simple but versatile.  The charcoal chimney, I still use regularly.

Best of luck!!

I would like to have a kettle or mini for small cooks, but wife has her big gasser and will not do without it. I have a cooking grate in the FB of my new smoker but have not had a chance to use it yet.
