First thighs on my MES30

For the rub:

  • 2 T Sea Salt
  • 1.5 T Granulated Garlic
  • 1 T Granulated Onion
  • 1 tsp Ground Thyme
  • 1.5 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
For the brine:

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Apple Juice
  • 1 can of Sprite
  • 1/2 C Kosher/Sea salt
  • 1 T Pepper
Cherry chips @ 225 to an internal 165 degrees. Turned out well for my first try.
