Reverse seared smoked Ribeye.jpg Got a chance to smoke my first rib eye after seeing all of the posts online. Used my Louisiana pellet smoker for the smoking and my kamado for sear. Cooked the asparagus on the smoker and the mushrooms on the kamado in a cast iron pan. added a Blue Moon and may never cook steak any other way again. Thanks for all of the suggestions on the site.

Looks yummy! What temp did you cook to?
I smoked the ribeye to 120, let sit for 10 mintues that seared for 1 minute per side. Wound up slightly past med rare, will probably take off next time a few degrees cooler or not sear it as such a high temp.

Looks great, I smoke for 30 minutes or so and then open the plate on the smoker and sear them, gas grill aint been getting much attention lately lol
