First ribs in rebuilt smoker

So I just drop in my first set of ribs in the smoker. Im currently am using ash logs for smoking. I live in MT and any hardwood in tough to find. But heres some veiws

Now just so I know from you guys with better skills then mine. Does this look fine for thin blue smoke? I looks just on the heavy side to me.

It's hard to say just buy the vent, but I would say that much or less is fine. Not much more than that though. IMHO
