I just bought a big RF smoker and it came on a trailer, but I have also bought a dual axle 6x12 trailer that I am going to put it on along with some other grill related items I have accumulated. Question, if weight and room is not an issue, what are the pros and cons floks have experienced for a side mount verusu a rear mount...because I can't decide which would be better for mounting it on the trailer side or rear.

No response...? Is a side or rear mount on trailer better?

What ever works best for what else you plan to put on the trailer....   Draw it out on paper to scale...  figure out where stuff goes...   Sinks, water heater, water storage.. food prep tables... coolers... wood storage....  garbage...

Don't forget the balance of the trailer...

If you plan on competing, there are "must do" regs. from the food police....
