This is my first Q-view on SMF. Did this last Saturday before traveling for Thanksgiving.
9 lb Pork shoulder injected (apple juice and bourbon) and rubbed the night before
Next morning - mix of Pecan and Hickory on WSM 22.5
Took photo and then foiled. Was on WSM for 11 hrs and rested for one before pulling.
Because sauerkraut is a traditional Thanksgiving side dish in our neck of the woods (northern MD), we used that instead of our usual coleslaw. That was a hit!
