Hi all! Smoked my first CSR's yesterday. Walking through the store looking for something for supper I spotted a pack.

Decided to give it a try.

Pre heated the RecTec to 230.

Coated them with evoo and applied some rub.

Put the ribs on the smoker at 2:15pm.

4:15pm starting to probe pretty good so I wrapped them with:

Butter, apple juice, a little q sauce, agave nectar and a little rub.

Also at this time I put a pan of baby reds in the smoker.

Shook the taters in evoo and ranch seasoning.

Was going to wrap for about an hour, then back on to set some sauce.

5:30pm they were almost falling apart, so I just pulled em out and rested in the oven.

6pm I finished the taters in a 425 oven for some crisp.

6:30pm Eat!

All I have to say is: Why haven't I smoked these before!!

Delicious, tender, and juicy!

I am on board with the CSR club.

Here's the view:

Fantastic and fairly simple!

Will definitely be doing these again.

Thanks for the look!

Thank you, and thanks for the point!

I believe it was your post I was lurking on...
I can't take any credit, I haven't done these yet, but you make them look super easy and delicious! I will have to try them!

Sorry, it was Tumbleweed1's post "CSR Questions" that I used as reference and inspiration.

This was easy. Have a go and let us know!

Are these loin CSRs? Did you smoke to a high IT or like a pork chop, 145 a 150. I can never quite find an answer for loon CSR internal temp

Nice job! They look great.

I'm doing mine right now, in fact I just put them in about 25 minutes ago. So you had them on the rack for 2 hours, wrapped for one & then rested them an hour? I ask because my plan is to go on the rack for 2 hours, wrap for 2 more, check'em, sauce'em & finish on the rack.

Thanks TW!! Yes I did 2hrs on the rack, one wrapped, then was going to finish some sauce on them back on the rack.

After checking them in the foil, they would have fallen apart had I re racked em.

Didn't see much anything on SMF yesterday to tired to look, glad I was able to see these,I will have to keep that butter idea in my head.Great job Thanks for sharing
