Ok all sorry I didn't get around to posting yesterday but better late than never. The smoke went great, largely because I have been reading these forums like a maniac and you folks have provided some great info! I used Jeff's naked rib rub and the sauce as well as a NC style sauce that keywesmoke was kind enough to provide. Overall I was extremely pleased with the results and so was everyone else. The fatty's were incredible. I bought one pack of JD and used two of my homemade sausage, one italian and one country but both HOT. I really wish I would have used a country that wasn't hot because I think to much heat took away from the flavor. The JD Fatty was perfect! I never could have imagined the flavor the smoke puts into the sausage. YUM!!!
