You sound like me. If it's good, I'll eat it till there isn't any left. My wife, however, is done after the second day.
Hahah yeah I eat it until it's gone or until I need to vac seal it and freeze it so it doesn't go bad. Smoked food easily lasts 5-6 days in the fridge so I can go through a bunch of brisket in that time along with the 1st day it was cooked :D

Well, around here I could eat it for lunch for a few days, but I don't eat much lunch. We can have leftovers once a week. I generally cook something new every day, and all have leftovers. It is difficult to cook a real meal just for two people.

I think my plan has to be to figure out how to cook either the flat or the point individually, for us or combined when we have people over.

But, in reality what I want to learn to do is make sausage. I could eat an interesting sausage every day of the week for lunch and then have a real meal with them once a week, and probably still not be satisfied. That will be my next project after I get my smoker modified.
