So I have ton tons and tons of pork butts, ribs of all kinds, chickens , turkey and turkey breast, meatloafs.......pretty much anything I can get my hands on but kept putting of a brisket. Did my first brisket last weekend. Just two flats. Injected them with a mix of beef broth with a splash of Worcestershire. Rubbed them with mostly smoked paprika and SPOG. Used a mix of hickory and mesquite about 3 to 1 in the MES. Here are the results. It is my absolute favorite of anything I have smoked and there are many briskets in my future lol. I can't wait to get my new 270 smoker in to give it a whirl with some briskets. Did a bunch of homemade sugar free bread and butter pickles while it was smoking.

Vid shows how nice and juicy brisket came out

Awesome looking!! I’m in the same boat for some reason I’ve been putting a brisket off now for quite a few years. I just bought a choice full packer brisket at sams it’s about 15#. Now I’m just making sure I get my plan all together, so many good ideas on here! Hope I can get it as juicy as yours!

Looks pretty tasty to me. I’ve still never done a brisket either. I’ve been waiting till I felt confident enough for a smoke like that. I feel like I’m ready, I just have to convince the wife to let me spend that much money on a huge hunk of meat lol.

I smoked several small brisket with good results. My first attempt at a large full packer proved difficult. I got the flat done correctly but the point suffered from low cooking temps. I know where I went wrong and will try again once my new smoker is finished and dialed in.
Your pictures are making me want to try it again soon.

Looks like a fine brisket to me. Job well done

Point for sure
Chris
