Ethylene glycol is your standard green/orange anti-freeze and highly toxic.

Propylene glycol is a common food additive used in thousands of products including soda pop, salad dressing and even beer as a foaming agent (Gasp!). It does have anti-freeze characteristics similar to it's dangerous cousin though and is sometimes marketed as a "pet safe non-toxic antifreeze". That being said they are two different animals.

As long as you are not drinking it by the pint, I wouldn't sweat it. The fat in the butter is more of a health risk!
