FINISHING SAUCE (for Pulled Pork)

Haven't tried this recipe, but I use a Carolina vinegar sauce on my PP.
It adds that special touch.
 
Been using this particular recipe for years and pulled pork just seems like it's missing something if I skip it.
 
I am like meat mopper. everytime I do a pork butt I use Myron Dixon's injection for pork butt's and after I pull it I put the finishing sauce on the pulled pork. YUM, YUM!
 
This is a classic post, I refer back to it every time I smoke pork butts.
I have the finishing sauce recipe on the note taking app on my phone, along with Jeff's rub recipes so I always have them at hand.

Just to confirm, so I don’t have to read all 26 pages of this thread, you are referring to the recipe in post number one correct? I’m doing a butt for Canada day. Long weekend.

My toughest decision will be which smoker do I use the pellet, Komodo, or my new Mes30 which still needs some mods? :emoji_laughing:

Yeah, post#1 is the finishing sauce recipe I use. There are several other ones around the forum and I expect all are good, but I use that one.

Me too. It's my go to. I've used it since around 2007..Damn I'm old. 😎
