I do what third eye suggest for “second” day all the time. I warm the slow @225 - 250 till eating temp.
if your mom is close then yes you can run over and finish in the oven. If you do the last hour in the oven you can have a lot more control glazing them if you like to glaze them with sauce. I have finished many rib racks this way when time is short.
