Pics should be self explanatory if not ask me and I'll elaborate....
2 x PID... one for temp regulation, second as meat cooking doneness....
220 VAC/2600 Watts stove heat element..
220 VAC 2pole contactor...
220 VAC 2 pole switch...
110 VAC split receptacle....
2 x "J" type termocouples...
For time being, TCs are setup to simple ON/OFF cycle to maintain temp @ +/- 5deg C..... still need to set up Histerysis and ramp um program to heat up Kamado slowly in 50 deg C increases to heat up nice and slow to SV value....
Split receptacle serves as accessory plug in as cold smoke generator for example, which I will install as soon as cold smoked prosciutto smoking is done... yeah, I need second cold smoke generator to build.... I can see that coming...lol...

ok...lol....feel like I'm talking to myself but it's ok, tuborg beer does that...good beer anyhow....lol
For some reason, 2600 watts stove heating element struggle to get to 435 F temp (aka 225 deg C).... it may be top heat value regarding to surounding heating space and outside tem which is at 5 deg C.. In summer time it will be ok but I may need to add extra one 500 watts heating element in parallel to compessate winter temps up here in Ontario....
will see...
either I build Frankenstein or GM lemon....
Home made bread is in.... fingers crosed...lol

I have no idea what the IT of bread should be. Always went by looks. Browned and has a slight crusty texture. And give it a tap with your finger. It should sound hollow.

The second PID is for temp monitoring only. Guess that works. Though, I probably just would have used a wireless thermometer. But, on the other hand, those PIDS are pretty cheap. And have it mounted like that really isn't a bad idea. And if it has a alarm output. You can have it set up to give you a audible or visual signal when the IT has been met.

I'm known to do the same thing. It's amazing. And startling stupid some of the things that get thrown out. I have a 3500.00 light curtain that was put in the dumpster. In new condition.
