Alright, it was my wifes birthday, I asked whats your favorite food I make? "those filets steaks"..... Ok, sounds good to me..... Fired up some lump charcoal, sliced up some 2 inch filets, hit them with some course SPG seasoning, and seared them up.

Looks good to me!! Not a huge fan of Filets myself but looked like you nailed them!! Even better that you did them for the Wife, Great looking meal!!
 
Love a good filet from time to time. You did those justice! I'm sure the wife approved. Asparagus is the side I love too.
Asparagus is one of my favorite sides with red meat, personally. I will even grill them up somtimes right with the meat.
