I was given a verticle tank 36"wx6'..was a hot water heater tank ..I want to cut the doors at a 45° angle so that they close on themselves sealing tite ...what should I use to cut it ...torch ...grinder with cut off wheels ..I have those two ..unfortunately I have not used my torch in years . Want to make it a rotisserie...with a firebox at the base offset use wood not pellets or charcoal.. ......Thank you......any comments are welcome ....

you probably be wasting your time if it is glass lined, they spray water heaters with glass on the inside to keep them from rusting out so fast, it will crack and flake off onto your food, hope it aint but that's the way they are made
 
True I have on all steel no liner ..ill use a cut off wheel .. used to haul them water heaters out if Selma Alabama overnite run to ohio ..toured the facility .enamel coating ..inside ..but you are correct wont know till I open er up ..
