Not a movie but a five season long series, Hell On Wheels.

That was a really great series.

For Movies
A few that come to mind are A Christmas Story, Blues Brothers, and Independence Day.

Im a big Steve Mcqueen fan (and a car guy) so Bullitt for sure, pretty much any Mcqueen movie, Tom Horn is a favorite also. As well, all the Dirty Hairy movies.

Just watched T2: Judgement Day last night while bored at work. Hell of a good movie. I like the first one also.

Tombstone. I've probably seen that one more than any other movie.

I remember when you could watch a lightly edited version of Blazing Saddles on TV (I think TBS played it often) but man is that a good one.

I can't pick a favorite. Forrest Gump is great, as is The Green Mile. Driving Miss Daisy. I got into a bit of hot water over that one a couple of months ago. My Lady had never seen it and suggested we watch it. About the third time Hoke said "yas Miss Daizzzy" she asked me if I thought she was a pretentious old BI56TC because occasionally she'll ask me something and my respose will be..... you might guess..... yes Miss Daisy......

I told her no - and to keep watching the movie as it is a love story (Hoke and Miss Daisy do love each other very much, though platonically) and that Miss Daisy is a genteel southern aristocratic woman who is particular about everything in her life, not a pretentious old BI^CH.

Mad Max 2 and Fury Road are the best Max movies, though Thunderdome is pretty good. I watched it again after we lost Tina a while back.

Oh, and John Carpenter's movie about Kings book "Christine" I watch it almost every year when the weather cools off and though it's not a Halloween movie, it's the ultimate fall movie IMO.

For a series: The Soprano's. I've watched it at least 3 times.

@Hijack73 MM2 and Fury Road are some of the better MM movies. But the original MM, at least like the last 30 min when he gets the BA car is what makes it for me. Of course I could just watch that part and be happy.
And Christine....Well its another classic movie. And book!

On Golden Pond... always thought it was just a sappy love story, until I watched it one night many years ago for the 1st time. Laughed my ass of with grandpa and grandson bickering. Wife came in to see what was so funny and ended up watching it with me. Still remember her words at the end... she said OMG that's you at 70! Right after the heart issue on front porch... then he says to his wife... " you wanna dance or just suck face?"

Oh I almost forgot one - The Outsiders. Starter flick for many popular actors today.

I have it on Blue-Ray - One of Burt's best right up there with The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing (have that too). Burt was great in that one the only exception being the sickeningly contrived scenes with his Indian son - God worse than Kevin Costner's fake Indian stuff... Rest of the movie is great.

I shouldn't admit to it but my most watched movie is Pure Country. Westerns are my favorites. I think I have seen them all.
