Now, the main issue of this OP-ED is that pediatricians are being advised to interrogate their children patients "Does daddy own a gun?" and then make reports to the police. This is just plain wrong. Gestapo type stuff.

I did, but in a manner that helps the reader walk away with some sense of what you were trying to convey. What you posted didn't exactly do that. Ban Life? Stats suck?? WTF does that have to do with dr's sending reports to the police based on what your 5yr old had to say?

Well, what I meant to convey is kinda similar to this situation: Someone has a beer, and walks home. On the way gets run over by a sober driver. It's STILL an alchohol related accident. I was being extremely scarcastic by stating "Ban Life"..Only live people commit crimes you see...bending stats. And in addition, that Dr. is violating sooo many dearly held principles... not to mention his rather important oath he took at one time, IMHO.

i just hate the news now cause they twist & inflate things for ratings & not report objective truth anymore. more people have wrecks talking on cell phones than alcohol related but ya never hear those stats...

This is just another example of the sad state of affairs our 'Forefathers' did not want this country to come to as they founded it!...

Anyone 45 to 50 years of age and older can look around at what's going on and quickly realize that this is not the same United States of America that we were born into!...

Those younger than 30 generally don't have a clue as to what our great nation once was...

I love this country!!...but I hate some of the things that 'We the People' have let come to pass through our own apathy!...

We can truly tell that we are in the last days as spoken about in the Holy Bible...

Stars are .500 right now and playing Chi in Chi tonight. Usually a gimme, but who knows the way we're playing. We have to find a scoring touch and our D has to start flexing a little bit. Oh, and Turco needs to play to his ability and not his hype.
