Embers on sale at HD for $9.98 for 40 lbs

Thanks to another member for seeing the sale. $9.98 for 40 lbs is just a tad under 25 cents a pound. Embers is RO Ridge with an imperfect stamp, but works exactly the same as Ridge. I don't need any due to our winter's bad weather and an earlier clearance sale, but it lasts indefinitely with proper storage. I'll probably succumb to the urge to buy a few bags.

Interesting that this post has no traffic, yet the Lowes and Menard threads have had eyes.

The Home Depot deal is actually minutely better than the Lowes deal by a penny a pound, which ain't much, but as they say, the early bird gets the worm. Home Depot, take note. Start your Memorial Day sale earlier!

I’m shocked it didn’t get traction either. We went to Home Depot today cuz the fiancée wanted some plants, and I left with another 40lbs of charcoal. It’s a great deal and they had pallets lined up but no one was buying it was kind of odd

Unfortunately (on several counts) my nearest HD is an hour away but have a local SLowes.
I do miss having a local HD.
