Tried my first double smoked spiral ham. 12 lbs from Costco. Poured maple syrup between each spiral cut, sprinkled my usual pork rub all over and smoked at 225 for 3 hours, basting it every half hour or so with the juices. Then when it was all over I glazed it with a recipe I saw Chopsaw use: apricot preserves, BBQ sauce, mustard, brown sugar. It turned out great and was a hit at our family Easter gathering. I'll definitely do it again.

Also made some shotgun shells for our annual crawfish boil on Saturday. They were scarfed up quickly, but I didn't remember to get any pictures.

It's easy to be a hero with a smoker!
