Drum that contained paint

So I am looking at buying a drum so I can finally build a UDS. I found one that is cheap with a lid but it contained paint at one point. I know you have to do a burnout anyways but I was wondering will the drum be safe to use once the burnout is done if it contained paint?  It seems most people find food grade drums but I am finding that to be difficult. Any advice you can give me would be appreciated.

mine contained transmission fluid, just set a massive fire in it and you'll be fine

That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure.

just make sure it gets hot enough to burn everything good, i had my barrel literally glowing red
