Hi folks. Master Built Electric. Don't know my model #. 30" x17" cabinet. Want to drill some holes at the top of the sides to install wooden dowels to hang sausages. Any chance of hitting any wiring? That would be just my luck.

The controls and heater are at the bottom? If so. The chances are pretty slim.

Get some aluminum angle at the hardware store .
I used a 2X4 as a gauge , so it stayed parallel to the top .
Used 1/2 " waffer hed tec screws to attach it to the sides . Pre drill the angle .

I use dowel rods ,

or the rack and hooks .

Several ways you could set it up with just the shelf racks , depending
on what model you have .

I used notched dowels and rested them on the top rack holders.

I actually need cut some new ones. Somehow I misplaced the ones I had.

I added the angle at the top so I get 20 " of vertical space on the one side . For larger chubs of SS or hams . Most of the time I use the rack holder .

Post #16 from @tallbm is what I use. Drill 1/2" holes (5) in center , then rip board in half, evenly placed grooves

I added extra racks in my old bradley with the angle iron trick. Works good. I used rivnuts. You don't need to drill right through, just one side.

Some great ideas, thanks. And thanks for the pics...worth 1,000 words so they say. I can make this work..

I just slide a rack in and tie the sausages to it, some hooks would be easier reckon it depends how many and what size your doing.
