I am counting down the minutes to 1:00, my first shot of tequila, my first beer, a local 3 hour blues show, lighting the chimney, and starting my day.

Until then reading a bbq book on the deck enjoying a sunny 80 degree day.

Got a butt, eye of round roast and some ribs going here in Jersey. Sipping on vodka drinks.
Boiled peanuts, I bought them one time not knowing exactly what they were and when I opened the bag I thought something was wrong with them (having no idea what to expect) so I threw them away. Wish I had tried them now though.

i buy a 40 lb sack and boil half w/ crab boil and salt and half w/ just salt. bag em in qt. zip lock bags and freeze. thaw and heat in boiling water or nuke em.

Those boiled peanuts sure are tasty. Love those suckers and it's hard to pass a road stand without stopping to get some!

man, Oh man...roadside stands~ back in North Carolina and Georgia they were some guy with a burner and kettle on the back of his pickup truck, but they were the best!
