Well mine does. 

I decided to re-purpose a old PC I had.

I will be using the AMNPS and this is for cold smoking only. Total cost of build $4.00 for the grates for the shelves, everything else I already had.

Step 1

I gutted the case (saving the fan).

I lined the inside with Oak panels leaving room in the bottom left for air flow.

Step 3 I glued shelves in place

Removed tape and made sure shelves were straight.

Step 5

Mounted fan (drilled many holes behind fan for air flow (cut DVD cover to fit spot to the right of the fan).

Taped and Primed Case.

Painted a nice hunter green (decals of Flames to come as soon as I print them)

Cut some shelves from Grilling grates (extra support with wooded rods under grates).

Trial run (barley see smoke coming out of fan)

Yes, you are correct a deflector would be helpful.

Great Idea to recycle that old desk top.  You can easliy put variable speed control on that fan if you need it.
