Do you leave your pellet grill plugged in?

I pondered this while running a more permanent extension cord to my Rec Teq. In short I ran it out an old conduit from the garage then under the deck and up. its way better. I use a portable GFCI thing and thats in a surge protector.

The Question: Do you unplug your pellet grill between cooks? I am guessing yes but figured I would get opinions.

If I had a GFCI and a surge suppressor, I would leave mine plugged in all the time.

I have a different brand. I do unplug mine but just do it out of habit much like unplugging a hand drill.

My OJ's grill never has pellets left in it per OJ's recommendation. If mine accidentally got turned on, no fire would start.

Nope. I'm paranoid about mine. The only times it has had an issue was when I thought I'd be ok. Don't remember the specifics, but maybe twice three times I had a flame out while either walking the dog or quick run to the store. Thing pumped itself full of pellets.
