I was at BJ's yesterday and they had a 34 lb bag of frontier brand lump for 18.99 Anyone have experience with this brand ? Is it good? And is that a good price? I've been toying with the idea of trying lump and thought maybe this would be a good jumping in point.

Hambone... Folks  have found "ODD" stuff in the lump... plywood etc... I have heard it burns very hot.....

that being said, I am thinking of trying it... hot for steaks, burgers etc.... but I will sort through it to remove any "trash" wood I encounter....

From what I have read, the manufacturer is doing his part to be environmentally friendly...  so it's worth a test burn...    Dave

Thanks dave.....I have heard that some comes from Mexico and some from USA , steer clear of the Mexican ....nails and trash wood , I guess.....the USA  made is supposedly better.
