Hi Y'all, I just got my DO out of storage, it looks ok, no rust. I have a question about the old oil on it. I havent used it in four years so am wondering what do I need to do as far as cleaning and reseasoning? Dont know if the old oil will be rancid? Thanks, Den

I by far a person to answer, but I would dump and wipe any old out heat it up and wipe with new oil.

If the old oil was rancid...you would know.

No need to reseason if it is ok.

Warm it up, wipe it out with some fresh oil and fire it up.

X2.  Heat it up good & it'll be fine if it doesn't smell rancid.
