hey everyone - I’m smoking some Wong’s and ribs today. For the wings, I mixed up a creole butter to inject in the wings, but it kept clogging my injector. Not wanting to waste the ingredients, I thought “hmmmm, I’ll just toss the wings in this instead of olive oil”. After I did that, I thought to myself, “I hope that won’t cause any issues”

So with that said. Should I be fine? Or should I rinse it off and use EVOO.

It'll be fine...I toss my wong in butter all the time o_O
Seriously,they should be fine.

For my wong I prefer a big tub of room-temperature margarine. Nothing like some 90W to move things along.

Nothing wong with dipping Your Wong in creole butter!

Usually when I inject creole butter I mix it 50/50 with beer to cut it down. Otherwise as you found it clogs easily. Especially if you have dry spices mixed in.

Never had a problem with clogging up, but the excess always gets poured on the outside.
