Man, for around 20 years now I have been using the same old monitor for my computer. The qview on here would make me drool at times but the color was a bit washed out due to the tiredness of my old Monitor and it was after all only a 13 inch monitor screen. Not a lot of definition and it flickered a bit.

So today I bit the bullet and went out and actually spent some cash on a new 24 inch HD puter screen Staples had on sale for $175.00 off plus I had a $50.00 re bate and a $100.00 gift certificate so I only had to lay out $90.00 for the thing.

Hooked it up, plugged it in and then with out really thinking it through. I hadn't eaten anything this morning so on and empty stomach I clicked onto SMF. ( you should always eat first before looking at qview ) Wow there it was, a picture of some High Definition georgeous looking Qview of some yummy looking Pulled pork butt. Pow right in front of me and twice life sized, looking good enough to eat right off of the screen. I may have to hook up the old screen just for Qview , this one is way too close to real.

Congrats on your new monitor. Nothing like a new piece of technology, especially HD.
I think our ancestors would be proud, we have the amazing technology and still enjoy some beautifully smoked caveman style grub.
Dread the day they create a way to "smoke" meat in the microwave the way you can "bake" things golden brown now...

Congrats on the new monitor heck of a deal!! At least the Qview won't make ya fat when your licking the screen

Yeah about the technology , believe it or not my first job in the coast guard 1965 was as a Morse code operator because Morse was more reliable than voice transmissions in an emergency.

Congrats! Thats quite a jump from 13 to 24. Just curious was the 13 Monochrome!?

Just don't get the new one all gummed up with whiteout every time you make a typing mistake!

Congrats on the new tech-gear, GnuBee! Just keep napkins handy to wipe the drool of the thing when you Q-view.

Just imagine what a new high end video card will do for your taste buds.
