When I was looking at John Deeres at LandPro in Macedon NY. I saw they had Ariens blowers there. You could see right away the build was much better with their pro series units. The Platinum series were impressive as well.
And those pro series was/are made in the USA as well.

So don't I!!!
Samsung needs to stick with TV's. :emoji_laughing:

This is my dishwasher.

We have a Kenmore that works great, but there are only two of us so we wash things by hand, and use the built in unit to store platers and oddball stuff that we hardly use.

I hope my dishwasher lasts longer than me. Because I couldn't live without her, she's my best friend.

My current dishwasher is threatening to go on strike!

Our repair guys always said whirlpool for dishwashers, i had good luck on a fridgadair once and bad luck on a GE,bought a maytag 2 years ago going good so far, Just bought a samsung all in one washer/dryer, also bought a 5 year warranty on it.

My GE dishwasher went out before it hit the 5 year mark. I replaced it with a Whirlpool and even installed it myself with the help of phone support with my Uncle who was a former Whirlpool certified tech. No issues.

Sorry to hear Steve I got the LG with 3rd rack this time and been very happy with it so far but not quite a year old now. Love having that 3rd rack.

My three year old John Deere is built very well. But I bet this same model 20 years ago weighed a couple hundred pounds more with beefier metal.
I have a Kubota 17hp going on 18 years now. I still want to smack the engineers that designed it when I have to work on it though. That's not often, but it's clear to me the people who design them, never have to actually put a wrench to them!

My wife is the dishwasher too, because I usually do the cooking, but she/we still use the dishwasher. I burn through some dishes and utensils when I'm cooking (and I'm a chef knife, not a gadget guy), but try to hand wash the things that make sense along the way.

Your post is a good reminder to not take our "dishwashers" for granted. Think I'll go give my wife a kiss now...

I love my green equipment but... my utility tractor used for moving snow, tilling and everything else is 4 years old. September of 2024 received a recall letter on one of the brake linkages. Said it's possible for the linkage to break and until they replace it (for free) I should not use my tractor. What? Over the next 14 months the part needed was not available, I kept using my tractor of course with the thought in mind of the linkage and being extra aware. October 2025 local dealer calls have the part want to come to my place and repair, great! October being harvest season they cancelled two appointments and then ghosted my emails and text messages. Contacted green company customer service they said nothing they could do but would document the phone call. They wouldn't let me install the part myself because it was safety related. Contacted the Consumer Safety Product Commission and explained my situation, four days later they contacted me and repaired my tractor. O and it was a 45 min repair....
