What is the most common way of cutting your side end caps out of plate steel if building a smoker using pipe instead of tanks? what is the most common used tool for this

Here is a link to a build using pipe. The guy was quite ingenious making his rounded end. There are a couple of ways shown there. The second one is the one I am talking about, but the first one works also.

Geothermal built a smoker out of pipe and the end product looks like an antique tractor!! Realy cool thread!
