Creative uses for the Vortex

So I just got a Vortex and I'm taking it for its maiden voyage for a late lunch (Sticky Asian party ribs) to watch the Razorbacks v St Johns tomorrow (Go Hogs Go).

That said, what else can I use this bad boy for other than what's advertised? One thought was snake method around the cone and putting a pizza pan on top to act as a heat baffle.

I've seen it turned over and coals around it for indirect heat.

I've seen it turned upside down and pushed off to the side... filled up and a just a few briquettes lit and used for the minion method.. indirect heat...

Also seen it used for charring... Steaks put right over the top ...

I do this often, couple minutes each side then set the steaks off to the side (lid on) to finish.
