Those wind speeds are nuts! We have had zero wind here, not even a breeze, but a bit south of all that.

We had a crazy wind storm hit today….. sustain 65 mph with 80 mph gusts

100 mph winds on the front range and 80 mph winds in Wyoming.

We had gusts of 70 mph plus last night here in North Idaho

They are calling for winds up to 50mph here

We were lucky, we tapped out at 61 mph today
That's crazy wind speeds. We're supposed to be windy here today, but nothing like y'all got. Calling for 35 mph gusts...

Todays menu is 30-40 with gusts of 55 and joined with rain...... I'm wanting more of this and less of the "THAT"

This was a couple days ago in PNW. Alpental Ski area near Seattle had gusts of 112 mph.

I had 75 mph gusts with about 64K lbs gross last night in Wyoming. My back box danced quite a bit but I made it up and back with no issues. Many other truckers were not so fortunate. I counted at least 8 trucks on their sides between Vedawoo and Elk Mountain.

I essentially drove through a dry CAT-1 Hurricane.

We are getting the high winds and snow now. 50-60 mph and it's 18 degrees

You have nerves of steel to pull doubles in high winds
It's all about training. Some days are worse than others but I've only ever once feared for my life and I wasn't driving, but the idiot who was "training me" had 2 months of linehaul experience and had no idea what she was doing.

Long story she went to Wyoming without getting fuel and we got stuck behind another driver in 92 mph winds in a gulley on I-80 at Arlington and our fuel light was on. I threatened to remove her from the seat if she didn't start driving. She asked me "what do I do?" and I told her to find the rumble strip and stay on it. After a brief hesitation and much to my relief, she did so and we got out of there.
