Think a gallon of gas is expensive?
This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective
to other things we buy.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ... $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ..........$9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 .... $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 1 6 oz $1.25 ........ $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ...... $33.60 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .....$84.48 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER... Evian water 9 oz $1.49 ... $21.19 per gallon! $21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source (Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)
Ever wonder why printers are so cheap? So they have you hooked for the ink. Someone calculated the cost of the ink at.............$5,200 a gallon So, the next time you're at the pump,be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil or God forbid, Printer Ink!

My God are you bored? That was really good. 21.19 a gallon for water... so like how much for a gallon of beer. Hell if I drank a gallon of beer it would'nt bother me to walk to where ever I had to go. Heck that may be cheaper. I still have a 350 in my truck, the guy at the gas station waves to me and smiles!!

But one thing to take into consideration about that, whats the one thing that controls the price of everything on that list, for that matter thing?

Gas.....................Tell me this why did the oils not build a new refinery in the US in thirty years? Because they have been trying to skyrocket prices for years on us......Again the customer pays the price for a business owners greed......They had record braking profits last year.....That tells me that they have raised their profit margians more then just a normal increase............But enough ranting on my part.........Its just I have seen that comparison done before and its not a true show of the price of gas vs products because gas controls all the prices of those products. Because all have shipping in their costs..................

That is so true kookie. I've noticed things at the grocery store are going up alot and it's because the cost of fuel!!! All it amounts to is the rich are going to get richer and the poor are going to stay poor forever. The common worker will never get ahead. I work for myself and I have a great retirement program. WTYD work till you die that's the road I'm on. With the price of propane,gas,and diesel fuel ,and cutting my prices to keep buisness I wonder how much longer I'll be able to keep going before throwing in the towel. Like kookie said enough ranting but somethings got to change or we're going to be in a depression before we know it!!!
We're already in a recession they just don't want to admit it.
