You and me both! I got into cigars about ten years ago and my wife said all I talked about was smoking. Then three years ago she bought me my first smoker. Now all I talk about is smoking......

I wish I wish I wish.  The insurance police would be after me.

I had to sign a statement with the insurance co saying i don't smoke or use nicotine or suffer a 28% increase in the insurance policy cost and they can test me any time they want. I used to love a good cigar.

I been a cigar smoker for 15 years. But i dont smoke them while messing with food.

I've smoked a handful of cigars next to the boatload of cigarettes. Just failed again about two weeks ago trying to quit.... one way or the other I will quit.

I treat myself to a good cigar once or twice a year - and yes - there is nothing better than a warm sunny day next to the smoker with the dog, a good cigar, and a glass of good wisky!

Monte Cristo 2 or 3, preferably Cuban...It's been 15 years since the last MC Cuban. Was a Gift from a Tobacco Shop owner on the opening night of my first Restaurant. He sold them for $50 a stick...JJ

My husband smokes cigars, and I'll take a few puffs off his, but I never smoke them on my own... it's too much!

He works with international clients, so he's gotten 2 boxes of Cubans as gifts over the years, that's what got him hooked. The last box of Cubans were Romeo y Juliet.

There's a shop in the French Quarter, New Orleans Louisiana, where he loves to get freshly hand-rolled cigars.

There's also a nice local steakhouse, they had a cigar bar, but of course smoking legislation killed that. They had a nice ventilation/scrubber system that cost hundreds of thousands to install, but it wasn't up to code... The owner said he would try to bring it back, but apparently it's not as easy as simply updating the system, got a bunch of red tape to cut through.

I bought my husband some Dominican vintage corona ryjs recently. He loved the flavor, but the outer wrap was running, and the center didn't burn consistently either. He said the Cubans always burned perfectly and had a nice robust and rich flavor.

Yea I've had cigars from all over but Cubans are always better regardless of the brand. The tobacco just grows better. The only place here I can smoke is on my back deck, but I don't mind. My wife will also have a smoke every once in a while with me as well.

You got it desjeany. My dad gave me a cuban romeo belicoso once, and the draw/burn was so smooth and even, I couldn't believe it. Great tobacco AND craftsmenship.

I really enjoy a good cigar, but the good ones are hard on the wallet.  So...most of the time I settle for a cheapo I kinda like.  About the only time I smoke 'em these days is on the golf course.

I miss Cigars.. Quit smoking about 5 months ago.

JP61 find a place like madvapes and get a zmax e-cigarette. They are about the size of a Cigar but man do they work. I have tried patches, lozenges, hypnotism, seminars, small e-cigs, etc.. to quit and nothing seemed to work. A friend quit with one of these and told me about it. They are expensive but heck I was spending at least 50 bucks a week on cigs and now I spend about 18 to 30 bucks a month. I don't cough crud up in the morning and I feel way better and I actually for the first time since I can remember don't like the smell of smoking. My friend told me he had the same change to where he didnt like the smell so maybe its the difference the e-liquid makes I don't know. All I know is 5 months down and I just stopped on day one.

P.S. Sorry for the hijack

Thanks smokinclt. The patch works pretty good for me..... did step one + one week without anything. I was doing real good until something really PO'd me. Next time I'll do all three steps + more if needed. Few years back went cold turkey for 1 1/2 years until the X..... I guess I'll never quit unless I quit getting PO'd.

I quit smoking ciggs about 2 years ago. Last summer was missing smoking while drinking good craft beer and on the golf course. So I tried cigars, I hated them while I smoked ciggs but not I love them. It's just as much as a hobby as anything else I like to collect and ate them. I smoke one a day usually but sometimes on the weekends ill have 2-3 if its nice out. I wouldn't say I'm addicted to them as I was ciggs cause I go days without them and it doesn't affect me as ciggs would. Matter o'fact I'm smoking a Trinidad paradox as I type. Just got done eating my first fattie so figured I'd enjoy the rest of this fine Sunday burning a tasty one. I smoke a huge variety, that's what makes them so good always changeing tastes.
