Rocky, I do not really know where I picked this up. I might have read it. When I lived in Kansas, I took part in several large underground cooks. Each 4th of July the community would cook about 1500 lbs of beef underground to celebrate wheat harvest being over. I probably do something like this on a monthly basis. I think I will skip the road kill and leave it for the buzzards.
