Thinking of smoking a ham this weekend.  I read where it is done @ 160....I am wondering what a good temp is to smoke at?

When I just smoked my cured hog leg(fresh ham) I did it at 240, and it came out amazingly. I assume you are using a ready to eat ham or a "raw" ham(one that has been smoked to 140). I pulled mine at 145 and will finish it on Xmas in the oven.

This will be my first ham to smoke....hadn't even thought of pulling it before 160 and finishing it in the oven.
