no help--> I have never SEEN a red jap. The ones we get are 100% green.

I'm talking real ones here, not in a picture. I know they exist though
 
A big NO Brian. Packing in adobo requires pressure canning
On a good year I get lots of red ripe jalapenos. I've either just dehydrated or frozen whole.

I had made some jalapeno jelly last year from David's recipe that was really good. That probably what I just do with them.
 
I use Al's dill pickle recipe to do jalapeno slices .
I have a pile of various peppers on the counter I need to do something with .
My Habenero plant is loaded and just starting to ripen .
 
Here is a chipotle in adobe sauce recipe from scratch that requires no pressure canning. Obviously affects the life but......


EVERY recipe I've used from that site is great BTW.
